Remote Support Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Service
BlackWater Glazing Inc. (“BlackWater”) provides remote technical assistance for European aluminum window and door systems. Support includes troubleshooting, adjustment guidance, and operational advice delivered via phone, video call, or screen share.
2. Fees and Billing
- Hourly rate as quoted or confirmed in writing prior to commencement of support
- One-hour minimum charge applies
- Billed in 15-minute increments after the first hour
- Invoiced upon completion, payable within 7 days
- Additional time or follow-up sessions are billed separately
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, clear photos, and complete system details.
All on-site actions or adjustments are performed at the customer’s discretion and risk. Customers must ensure:
- Safe working conditions and proper tool use
- Compliance with local codes and safety regulations
4. Limitations of Remote Support
Because site conditions cannot be physically verified, all advice is advisory in nature. BlackWater cannot guarantee specific outcomes, performance results, or product compatibility.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
By requesting remote support, you agree that:
- All work based on BlackWater’s guidance is performed at your own risk
- BlackWater Glazing Inc. and its representatives are not liable for any damage, malfunction, injury, or financial loss resulting from such guidance
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlackWater Glazing Inc. and its employees from any claims or damages related to the implementation of this advice
6. Recording & Documentation
Support sessions may be recorded for internal documentation and quality control.
All recordings remain confidential and will not be shared externally without written consent.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all project information, images, and communication confidential and use it solely for the purpose of providing or receiving remote support.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
